Paleontology or fossils do NOT support evolution. Evolutionists avoid the subject when debating creation, because it is their weak area. They use staged photos of peppered moths - which never land on tree trunks, Urie-Miller experiment which did not contain the right gases as the premordial earth and when corrected it did not produce any ameno acids that were not the right kind anyhow, Darwin's finches which revert back to the original when the wet season comes, Heackel's embryo hoax, Archaeopteryx was proven to be a dead end not a link. The unique thing about Paleontology is it studies living things that have been petrifed (turned to stone), it reconstructs the unobserved past that cannot be repeated without writen historical records, it finds remains of living things in solid sedimentary rock.

Just wiki paleontology.

Paleontology gives us a look into the past. We can see plants and animals that have lived. Paleo also gives us the means to see the links between species that helps support evolutionary theory. Paleo also gives rise to imagination. Without paleontologists, where would movies like Jurassic Park be?
