It's mostly what I don't see. There's a tree in my backyard, and it's a sunny day in Kentucky, and I see small leaves and branches moving gently with the breezes.
But it's what I don't see that is more important. Like all the tiny life living on those leaves & branches, the water coursing through the tree's capillaries, all the way up from it's living roots deep within the ground below, all the way up to the highest possible leaf.
I wonder what it would be like to be a tiny ant, and suddenly realise I have reached the "Mt. Everest" of my tree?
I'd be holding on with all six legs, for sure. Then I'd scurry back down to the ground and invite a friend to join me, if I didn't get pecked and swallowed by a random sparrow along the way...
But, then again, ants don't really wonder such things...
They don't need to. But we humans do. That's why you asked your question. That's why we look up at the sky. Cows don't because they don't need to to survive. But we humans are unique is this way, don't you agree?

Trees, grass, bushes, a fence, part of my neighbor's house, and some houses in the back (over the fence) .... oh wait, there a squirrel ..... so peaceful. My window is 144 inches long. I love having the computer in front of it.

a few cars, a little tree\bush. a wall. its like a bay window so im looking out of a strange angled window!! oh and my road!!
