LOL. It might... try the stove. I used to light mine off the electric burner when I smoked. Course, it took as long for the burner to heat up enough as it would take you to walk out to your car... And be very careful not to catch your hair on fire!

I don't smoke anymore, but I have used the kitchen range in
emergency situations (or if you have a charcoal lighter ?)
('course if you use the light bulb, it could make you a
little brighter and you TOO could dispense with the smokes)

Really think hard - you you keep any emergency candles and matches for a power cut?
Do you have a gas hob electric grill? Use them!
Are you coats all hanging up close by? Raid the pockets!

Once while in college I took two coat hangers and straightened out the tips, then placed one in each side of an outlet and used a shoe to tap them together. The sparking mess was capable of lighting the cigarette that I held up to it. You better just go out to the car.

1. remove one cigarette from the pack
2. use the pack to light the cigarette because since you removed one, the PACK is now a 'cigarette LIGHTER!'
