For those of you who don't know bearded dragons need a basking(heated)side and a cooling side. My boyfriend wants to move their tank around(like move their log, their hammock, their rock etc.) around just for a change and he also wants to move their heat lamp from one side to the other because he plans on putting their basking branch on the other side. I just want to know if this is ok and what precautions we should take in doing this. I don't want to stress my babies out at all if possible. Also, my boyfriend is big on change so he might want to change their tank around every so often, how often is too often? Thanks in advance!

KimbeeJ-
My dragons are babies, babies can be housed together. They are only about 2 months old.

I don't see any problem with what you want to do, a change in how the cage looks might make your beardies more active and explore their new makeover.

Change can be stressful to reptiles. I would move it if necessary, but frequent changes I wouldn't recommend. It's like moving them to a new viv--they may not eat well at first. You say "their"--it is NOT recommended to house beardies together. Each should have it's own tank/enclosure to prevent dominance aggression or over breeding of females.

Shouldn't be a problem... Maybe a little stressed for a couple hours depending on his age and how long he had that setup, but nothing he can't overcome.

He may find a new spot to leave his poopi though!
