Biden and Clinton would remain with forces for training Iraqi troops/police and to fight terrorists but pull out the combat troops over a period of time. Kucunich would pull out asap and so would the guy from NM. Not sure about the other ones. I don't think anybody who wants to pull the troops out immediately is going to get elected.
I see by some of these answers here, people don't even listen to what the candidates are saying. How sad.

I don't think a Democrat will win, that's just my thought. Even if one does, s/he is going to have a hell of a mess to pick up after, and it's going to have to be a brilliant plan, not just reaction to wide-spread feelings by celebrities and those with money, a REAL PLAN, because Iraq is not the only nonsense we have gotten ourselves into, and I mean collectively, because Americans were/are not the only troops sent there to bring "peace" and "freedom" to the Iraqi people.

No, the P will take advice form those who are in that area of expertise and will not hinder in their mission. They will have talks and the P will argue his thoughts and they will advise him on his thoughts and the P will see matters their way. Right now the democrats are trying to get into office. They will say anything to get elected. Right now the people want out. This is the road they are taking. Did anything change with the democrats in the houses. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The troops do would desire to be withdrawn from Iraq - that's costing useful American lives and is costly to the song of $3 hundred million funds an afternoon. Senator Clinton is experienced adequate to be attentive to that a speedy withdrawal without adequate making plans would properly be disastrous, consequently she would be in a position to seek for suggestion from together with her joints chiefs-of-team to return up with a secure plan of withdrawal. additionally, there ought to be a strategies-set to guard the a hundred,000 American civilians nonetheless there, and the thank you to maintain risk-free those Iraqis there who a great deal aided the U.S. efforts. additionally, it's time to shift the duty to the Iraqi military to take duty to deal with their very own affairs concerning to this count number - they have gained greater education and materials - additionally, the surge has decreased the countless situation 'hotspots' of the insurgents strongholds, for this reason reducing their ability to objective to destabilize the region greater desirable. finally, Hillary is on acceptable of the region and knows what needs to be finished. If Dem wins we might finally get legislation passed to reduce funding for the "war", we might finanlly start to change from it being a military occupation to a political presence, we might finally have someone in the White House who has the sense that God gave an ant, and we might have someone in the White House who wants to reduce the deficit and TAKE CARE OF ISSUES AT HOME, plus catch Bin Laden.
Geez, if all the new Dem President did was get Bin Laden that would be enough for me to call them 1,000% better than Bush.

if a democrat wins the white house, i really think they'll evaluate the evidence before making a decision rather than saying "we're staying the course no matter what happens."

Eventually, yea, both party's actually are stuck with the mess, and, not surprisingly, Obama and Hillary "punish" Bush and the Republicans for entering the war, but both, too, have said the withdrawl needs to be gradual with diplomacy in the region a priority.
