I took 2 equates yesterday, got a faint line on the first, thought it was an evap. Took a second later in day, and got whats in the pic. (sorry bad quality photo) It was a light line. So I thought I was on the road to a positive with a different brand. Took an Answer today, nothing!!!!!! Should I take this as Im out? Or try again tomorrow. Period was due today. Thanks!!!

wait 2-4 days and allow HCG to build up and retest first thing in the morning. Equates can be extra sensitive but a positive is still a positive and 2 is even more likely to be real. Some tests are more sensitive than others. I would retest or call your Dr for a blood HCG test. Good luck.

That happened to me with my first pregnancy. The only brand that gave me a positive was First Response. I tried like 5 other kinds and they were all negative. I ended up going to the hospital for a blood test. If you got two positives, even faintly positive, you are probably pregnant. I think they're more likely to not detect an early pregnancy than to detect one that's not there. Wait a few days and try again.

False positive are rare. The best way to know for sure is to get a blood test. Normally it is best to wait 2 weeks after a later period and take a home pregnancy test with your first morning urine.

False negative happens a lot, but false positive rarely happens. Don't get your hope high yet though (that is if you are hoping to be pregnant). Test again in a week. Different test has different sensitivity level. That is why it shows positive in one and negative in another. Good luck!

Since you took the other one later in the day your urine was not as concentrated as is was earlier in the day. Get another one and take it first thing in the morning before drinking anything. A + is a +. Good luck.

A faint positive is still a positive. I would wait until tomorrow morning and take one with your first urine so that it has the highest concentrate. Baby dust!

try again after 3 days
if u r pregnant the line would be stronger due to ur hormone levels being much higher

i would sugget ging to your doc & taking a test there, even faint lines could mean a yes. not all tests are the same, the one that was neg, i wouldn't worry about.
