Does the inconsistencies surrounding her various stances on the Iraq war, support for General P and repeated questions about her campaign and its contributors give you even the slightest pause about voting for her?? Do you feel that these questions will come back to haunt her??

Before you get carried away, she DID support and vote for the war. She DID support General P to take over in Iraq and her campaign HAS been dogged by controversy regarding some of her contributors~there is no "neocon" propaganda in this question.

Now please, this is a legitimate Hillary Clinton question. If you want to bash the president or other candidates there are 1000's of other postings to go to.....

Dear mstrywmn~you failed to address the questions asked. You answered this question by asking other questions, which means you have NO answers. I didn't ask about other candidates, you can if you wish, I asked about Hillary the Democratic front-runner. If she and her supporters are as thin skinned as you, how in the world is she going to run this country??

To start with, I believed Colin Powell at the UN and I believed the President when he said there were WMDs in Iraq. Since more information has come out I have felt at various times, used, duped, lied to, and in general made to feel like a fool.
I would imagine she feels pretty much the same way.
Ditto, General P, I feel what was promised to us in his honorable way was misused and that he was used for his credibility. If I feel that way why shouldn't she? I actually like the fact that as the facts came out she changed her position, I have had enough of staying the course when the winds and tides have changed. Being able too shift tack as things shift is a very, very good thing to do.
Her campaign has been dogged by Hsu, lets face it, hes a bit of a nutjob. She has returned the money, donating some of it to charity, returning checks to other donors, Hsu was what is called a bundler, so its not like he was writing out huge checks with his name on it. She is also the only candidate I am aware of who has since instituted background criminal checks on her donors and bundlers. She is well aware the the right is on her doorstep looking for anything to discredit her with. While we are at it, Romney has had a similar problem, but its hardly been mentioned, and its early days yet, this stuff happens to all candidate, thats why they aren't all over her, they know next time it could be their campaign that messes up.
Reminding the people that Hillary voted for the use of force, and then condeming her for believing in the president, and then condeming her as a lackey for Osama makes no sense at all. I can't really figure out what the Republicans think they are gaining with that line.

If this was truly a legitimate question & not a neocon propaganda then you would take into consideration that...
1. It is a good thing for people to change their minds when more pertinent info comes to light that requires one to do so, instead of stubbornly "staying the course" no matter what.
2. Many other contenders have had "questionable" contributors as well. It is very difficult to check on everyone. Even today, with all the "security" in place, terrorists are still falling through the cracks.
3. None of the things you mentioned are mysteries or even inconsistencies.

I purely asked an identical question the different day and the final public of Hillary supporters stated that they might vote for McCain. i'm not sure yet which way i might bypass through fact Obama and McCain are the two purely approximately the two poor ideas, for my section.

It's just like how Bush got elected, the core of each party simply wants their most winnable candidate to win and doesn't care about such trivial things. Now they may not be trivial to the opposing party, bu they are trivial to the party who has the most winnable candidate, regardless of such inconsistancies. Both sides overlook such things when necessary. I don't totally support her, but I havent heard much to sway me away other than trite campaign rhetoric from the opposition. There is nothing of real subsance against her. Just cheap shots so far.

BUT as the wife of the "popular" President she has all that experience and flexibility toward change. She also found God.
Personally, it is beyond me how one can justify the support here. Fortunately, it is America and we are all free to make up our own minds. I beg people to continue to read past the headlines & so called polls and research each candidate as if meant a college grade, a job promotion or your life depended on it. Please get out and VOTE. Thank you very much.

Yes, they will come back to haunt her. Many video and audio clips of her strong support in '02 and '03 for taking action against Iraq. And clips of her not just being bamboozled by Bush, but information she gleaned from her husband during the previous administration. You can be sure they will be edited back to back and juxtaposed against her current statements, then be thrown back at her during the election campaign.

It makes me pause a bit the more and more I hear her answers in debates. She doesn't really seem like the person to make clear changes to the American policies that need changing in the next Pres. term.
I'm still not sure who I'll vote for, but more and more, I don't think it will be her.
She will just keep things the same as they are (for the most part) in Washington and that's not what we need.

We need someone to revolutionize our gov't.

Who cares..... there are no politicians with an absolutely clean record. Dems and repubs are not really any different. A politician is a politician. If anything vote independent this time and send both parties a message that we are fed up

She is no more inconsistent then most candidates. Campaign contributions go to all candidates and many are questionable. I don't think she'll have any problems dealing with the negative press.

Well of course it depends on which election youre talking about. In a democratic primary, I may well vote for someone else. If she ends up being the democratic nominee though, of course I will vote for her over any republican. At least she is a member of the party that represents the people, instead of the party that represents corporations and the wealthy elite who control them.
