How many songs can a ipod shuffle or an ipod nano.?

I have the shuffle I have like 23 songs on it I can put on it way more but i want a nano how many songs can it hold?

The ipod shuffle which has a 1 gigabyte of memory can hold up to 240 songs while the ipod nano which comes in either 4G or 8G can hold approximately 1,000 or 2,000 songs.
