The 9/11 memorial should be built in the shape of an Islamic Crescent facing Mecca, just like the Dhimmi Leftist memorial for Flight 93.

I would create parks and places where things grow, no structures. The benches are great. No money to be made or profit on the lands again. Donations somehow for families and perhaps volunteers around sharing stories. Like another Central Park but Memorial pathway. Lots of trees to watch grow and remember. Thank you.

It would be built on the site of the old Twin Towers, replacing them duplicating the searchlight display of a few years ago. The symbolism is simple: the site itself is hallowed ground, like the Battleship Arizona in Pearl Harbor. To build anything there, in essence, is to desecrate it. The lights would be a constant nightly reminder to us all of the price of freedom. Denying the money lenders the use of that prime piece of Manhattan property would show them our contempt.

I would have a new American Flag created with 1/2 of the first (top, right) star black, instead of all white.
Everywhere the flag flies, everyone will remember 9/11.

I would locate it at the UN in New York and have a simple black marble block, ( maybe 2 ) with the names....but I would include the responders who are dying from lung diseases too. - also list the names of those at the Pentagon and on Flight 93.

I would rebuild the twin towers in the same spot so they could be seen as before but the only difference would be no interior what so ever. Just the facade,sides, and back.
