Plenty of stretching, taking breaks often will help too. If you can, take a break, and go outside and walk for a few minutes. It'll help relieve pressure, destress you mentally, and will also give your muscles a chance to move around.

Also, working out helps tremendously. I used to be a cop, had constant lower back pain where my gun belt sat. When I started on a regular workout routine, the pain went away and I feel so much better! I'm an office dweller myself now, and still keep up with my workouts, plus adding in breaks to walk around my job (I work at a museum) helps to give me a mental and physical break as well.
