I'm 14 and I love Halloween! This year, I wanna dress up as someone from Hairspray and go trick or treating with all my other 14 & 15 year old friends!
My Mom says i'm too old, do you think 14 is too old for trick or treating?? Why or why not??

Best answer for where i can find a Hairspray costume and answer the one above please.... THANKS =D

I think that u can trick or treat as long as u want, but around 13 and 14 it is time to stop and go to Halloween parties and answer the door. But that doesn't mean you have to stop dressing up! I dress up for parties ( of course ) and to answer the door! Trick or treating is fun for the little kids but as you get older u should stop and let the little kids have their fun. ( my opinion )

This has some great costumes and even though they are plus size u could stuff a pillow in them. They also have adult sizes.

I know this is also adult sizes and probably wont fit you, but take a look anyway.

I just searched Halloween costumes + hairspray

You're not too old! NO one's too old for Halloween. It's a fun holiday where everyone gets to dress up as someone else for the night. Now I'm not saying that as an adult you should go trick or treating ut right now your fine.

You could make your own hairspray costume. Just go to a thrift store and fine an old fashioned dress and shoes.

OR

You could go here

As long as you are in costume & with a group of others also in costume & ya'll remember to say trick or treat, happy halloween, thank you - then there's nothing wrong with you going this year. I hate when big kids come to my door with no costume, a sullen attitude & a pillowcase full of candy they've gotten from others too afraid that they will trash your house. If you play the game right, everybody has a great time & no one should object to your age group!!!
Have fun & Happy Halloween!!!

No, you're not too old. There's only a problem if you're vandalizing or having a negative impact on younger kids' experiences somehow.

I think the only time it becomes looked down upon is when someone wears obscene or sexy costumes in the company of younger children. That's trashy. Otherwise, to each his own and the best of festivities to all!

Sorry, I know nothing about Hairspray costumes.

Your never too old for Halloween. Trick or treating should end by age 12 then you just go to partys and things like that. Althought I took my grandma out trick or treating for the first time when she was 82. We had such a great time but only went to relatives homes.

I think 13 is the upper age limit. After that one should move on to Halloween parties, costume contests, and haunted houses. It's still fun to dress up, but it isn't fun for the people who's houses you go to to get free candy. People like to give candy to children and see their happy smiling faces and scary or beautiful costumes, but not so much teen-agers. It just isn't cute anymore. You're probably about as tall as half the people who's doors you knock on, and they're probably thinking, "You want candy, how about get a job."
