Call Sky News before calling the police? Why did she go with a lawyer in the very first time she was called to be questioned by police? An innocent grieving mother would not "lawyer up" when there was no reason to think there had been wrongdoing from her.

A more interesting question is why did she give her mother in law intructions, just before the second interrogation, to take the twins back to England if she was arrested?
Surely if she was innocent she should have nothing to fear.
This was said by her mother in law on an interview for some paper.

I don;t know but if i was in a strange country and my child went missing i would have every news camera and police station talking to me and trying to find out what happened to my daughter,Now days if your not guilty you should always have a lawyer so the police don;t try to put words in your mouth.Police are great; but they can be awfully tricky too.. And why did they hire a lawyer that prevented Pinochet from beeing extradicted if they say they will go back to portugal if they are asked to ?

If i were a parent, and if my child went missing , a TV crew would be the last thing in my mind .

i never heard she called sky news before calling the cops, i just heard that she waited 30 minutes before actually calling the cops after discovering maddie was missing
