Make a gate on the bulliten board. Have the kids make pumpkins out of construction paper. You could maybe cut out triangles and suck for them to glue and make the face on the pumpkins. Sit all the pumpkins on the gate and put up the following poem:

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate;

2. The first one said, "Oh my it's getting late."

3. The second one said, "There are witches in the air."

4. The third one said, "But I don't care."

5. The fourth one said, "I'm ready for some fun!"

6. The fifth one said, "Let's run and run and run."

7. "Wooooooo" went the wind,

8. And out went the lights.

9. And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.
