the big bang theory says that the the primevil atoms (what exploded in the big bang) was made of all of the energy in the universe, all of it. once it exploded some of the energy cooled and created matter.

according to the theory there was nothing before the big bang, absolute nothing, the kind of nothing our minds cannot comprehend. there was no space and no time, so not only was there no matter, but there was no room to put matter if there was any.

and its kind of weird to think of an explosion creating space itself. but it was very different from any kind of explosion we know today. bombs and fireworks, they all have matter that exploded, this was pure energy.

Before the Creation of the Universe . The Universe did not exist yet. Energy is a process which relates three components,which are mass,Unit distance travelled and time travelled.
Since at the Begining, the Universe did not exist in a particular Geometrical volume of a particular containment ,there was no energy phenomena taking place.Therefore Zero energy ,zero mass ,zero relative travel time.and zero relative traveled distance.
If The Big Bang theory is not real, then we could say there was never a Big Bang ,but only some form of Creational process that only our Creator would know.
