Can somebody please create a hero that can "fight" and provide hope against one of today's societal/political issues? Please include a superhero name and an explaination as to how your hero's powers (superhuman or regular) fight against specific parts of this societal/political issue you've chosen.
Also can somebody create a villain/monster that goes together somehow with the hero. Please include a villain name and explaination as to how your villain's traits help him attack or threaten something in society at this time... what emotions he/she/it stirs up in people and preys on (why is this considered particularly bad in our era?)

i don't know if this is what your looking for, but i had this twisted idea for a short story. why not have an angel and a demon here on earth arguing over the cure for aids. the demon inspires scientists to find a cure and the angel is trying to stop him. the demon does not believe in dying innocent and wants people to live and therefore continue to sin. the angel believes in the young dying innocent to return to god. too deep?

My villian would be { Equality } My hero would be { individuality } his powers would be number crushing ,,, the villian would also have powers though ,, pulling numbers out of his hat , The hero's monster side would be, having more then enough ,, never satisfied .always wanting to crush numbers that don't exist yet,, and the villian would counter with an abuility of being able to do mathmatical equasions in its head and keeping this secret untill it is ready to mount its attack ... I would play the villian but I don't like math
