whats a calibre? not the gun...is there any other meaning?

There is apparently not any direct meaning which can be attributed.
However, there may be a poetic intent for this statement. It could mean "Frozen in time," like an event that will always be remembered.

It could also, dare I say it, have a sexual connotation.
