Assuming you mean "feral."

Feral does NOT mean "wild," or.. not precisely. There is a distinct difference between a "feral" animal and a "wild" animal.

In order to be "feral" that specials must first have been domesticated. In other words, a wolf cannot be feral, but a dog can. A tiger cannot be feral, but a house cat can.

One of the main differences between wild animals and domestics in an instinctive fear of other species, including, in this case, humans. Domesticated animals have had the instinct to maintain a distance bred out of them. So, when a domesticated animal goes feral, they are actually more dangerous to humans than the wild variety.

So, a pack of wolves living near a community would be much less dangerous to a comminity than a pack of feral dogs, because the wolves are going to want to maintain their distance from the humans, while the dogs will be much more willing to approach.

Feral means untamed-running wild. No social disciplines restraining it-when referring to "Feral teenage gangs"
On the other hand-it could be when one slots the end of a fishing rod into the ferrule when putting the rod together
