When can I prune my blueberry bush?

How much do I prune? The bush is 8 feet tall.

You can prune it back this fall when it goes dormant. I would cut about 1/3 of the bush completely back to the ground that way next year it'll start growing new growths and do this every year then every 4 years you have a new bush. Cut the older parts back maybe a foot or so

Usually the Fall, or very early Spring is the best time. Cut out the older non productive parts. As to the height, it depends on whether you want a short bush or a tall one.
