Your occupation does not determine how your marriage will be. Each marriage is unique.

Two of my personal physicians in the past had just such a relationship. Each had been married more than twenty years. One couple had two kids, the other had three. Of the five children, two have become physicians themselves.
I have dated physicians in the past - I'm a Registered Nurse (and have other licenses as well). Know what? They're human too, in spite of their status as doctors. We had (and have) a heck of a lot in common outside our respective professions. Does it make a difference that I'm at the Masters level? I rather expect it does - otherwise I think my lady physician friends would have had a lot less in common with me.

interesting question. knowing how we women are, i don't think a female doctor would marry a male nurse only because she would want someone who was a least at the same professional level as she was. please don't get mad at me. i am a woman and a nurse and i have never seen a female doctor even act interested in a male nurse. but the male doctors are always being flirty.
