Like Stephane M I say Malta is the best English speaking European country. I came to Malta 39 years ago and I know what I'm talking about.

I haven't been to England but some of my contacts and internet buddies are from the UK. I am going to live in Japan but you bet I'm going to visit the UK, seems cool over there.
Just a guess ^_~ somewhat educated though
oh yea, and Australia is great but it's not really European waa waa

That is easy, England of course, you cannot beat it. Cost of living is reasonable and the others are similar to any other European countries. In fact many others are probably more expensive to live in and do not have NHS for hospitals and doctors.
