I'm not sure how wide of lace you are looking for but I found 5-3/4" to 6" lace here:
http://store.marthapullen.com/?page=shop/browse&category_id=21&

I used "wide lace" in a search engine and found this company with lace 12", 24" 40" etc:

(WHOOPS...this is a wholesaler...)

Additional Answer:

I searched for 24" lace and found this site:

They sell lace curtains by the yard...which would work beautifully...and if you don't want to purchase lace over the internet, you can check with your local fabric store, they may have lace curtains by the yard as well. I made curtains for my daughter that way. They come in various lengths and styles and may have just what you are looking for.

The other posibility would be just as the others suggested. Purchase lace fabric and cut the design off at the length you need. You would just follow the pattern of the lace around the bottom edge so you can retain the lace design instead of cutting straight across.

My mom used to go to the market to get all-over lace, but maybe at a pinch you could use lacy net curtain? Just a thought. Lace is very hard to find on the web

You need lace yardage. Sometimes you can find it with a nice border, or you can cut around it and seal the edges with fray-check. Check the prom/bridal section at your local fabric store.
