Looking to have several procedures done, one being breast lift due to heavy large breasts. However i am concerned that i will lose all feeling in my nipples from having to have them removed/cut around for the lift. All info online says "occassionally" numbness is permanent. But what is the percentage or odds that will happen? Anyone have an anchor cut/full breast lift done? And what did you experience? Thanks!

Are you getting a reduction as well? To get a lift without a reduction is just asking for your breasts to sag again. It can be covered by insurance (it covered mine 100%).

Nipple sensation can take up to or over a year to come back. Depending on the procedure it might not ever come back.

My nipple sensation came back after three months post operative. I had the anchor incision and did NOT have a Free Nipple Graft.
