Elizabeth 1

Queen Mary Tudor (Mary I) was succeeded by Elizabeth Tudor (Elizabeth I). Queen Mary Stewart (Mary II) co-ruled with her husband, the former William of Orange. She died before he did. When William died, they were succeeded by Anne Stewart (Anne I). When she died, the Hanovers were asked to take the throne in the form of George I.

You must mean Elizabeth I, but it was actually more peaceful under King William.

Elizabeth I DID make processions throughout the country, but there was a better reason than just escaping the smells of London. When she got told of a noble plotting against her, she packed up her court and went and visited him and STAYED until he was nearly broke. You can't finance a rebellion if you're broke and you can't effectively plot against the Queen when she is right there. It worked.

The King of Siam (Thailand) had a similar way of dealing with plotting nobles. He would send a sacred white elephant to the man as a gift. Now a white elephant could not be killed and they were very expensive to maintain. And most elephants lived to be 60 years old. Oh, and they weren't much good for anything. That is why having a white elephant is not so good.

i know everything about the tudors. it was good queen bess, otherwise known as Queen Elizabeth 1.

She didnt make it that peaceful. There was still a divide between the protestants and the catholics, with the protestants being burned at the stake. Queen Elizabeth was also imprisoned by Mary on many occasions.

Queen Elizabeth 1 had enemies with Spain which resulted in the Spanish Armada, which Britian defeated. She was a very powerful leader and it was known as the golden age.

Queen Elisabeth ruled after Queen Mary (unless you mean the later one). Then England was only a peaceful place if you were not Catholic, poor, rich or foreign. She was known for being a bit random when it came to laws and she used to go on grand progresses round the country when London got too smelly in the Summer. She would descend onto the homes of her more senior courtiers and expect them to look after her entire court and hangers-on. She never paid for anything but if she enjoyed her stay, the lucky lord might get a government post or other favour and could expect her to come back again!

Queen Elizabeth the first. She turned England into a world power after coming to the throne in 1558. She died in 1603, and as she died a virgin, with no children, king James 5 of Scotland became king of England as well, thus uniting England and Scotland.

if you mean Queen Mary Tudor - commonly known as 'Bloody Mary' [because of all the people she had killed] then it was Queen Elizabeth l. The country was still at war with the French and the Spanish, so was not exactly peaceful, but she brought stability and did much to defuse the religious tensions.

Queen Elizabeth 1

Although I do not think it was "peaceful" Elizabeth made an enemy of the King of France and Spain.

Although by todays standards I suppose it could be viewed as peaceful.

I assume you mean Mary Tudor(bloody Mary). It was her sister Elizabeth who came to the throne but it was anything but a peaceful country being constantly at odds with Spain, war in Ireland and rebellion in England.
