bedbugs don't live in the mattress, lol. they live in cracks and crevices like in your headboard where you can't get at them. the only way to get rid of them is with a professional bug killing outfit. Call Orkin or one of those type. they will make sure you really have bedbugs and they can get rid of them. you would be surprized to know, that some of the best 5 star hotels have bedbug problems too. they come in with your luggage when you travel. since people from all around the world travel, the bugs hitch along.

Bleach kills everything. However, you can't use it on beds unless you want to discolor things. I would go to a store and find out what kills bedbugs. Personally, if I found out I had bedbugs, that mattress would be going to the town dump, then i would have the entire house fumigated.

I would advise against it. Alcohol vapors are toxic. But the real hazard is fire. Alcohol and it's vapors are VERY flammable. The least spark could cause a fire or in the worst case and explosion from vapors ingniting.

My answer is NO!!!!!!!!

Better yet, drink 1/2 a bottle of good rum and 7UP. Then you won't care so much about how clean the house is. lol
