its pretty bad but it has been worse

Well, my weekend has been different. The last blows of a hurricane hit us with heavy rain. Lightening struck the transformer across the street, the pole came down, dragging down the pole in our yard & ripping the box right off the house. The power surge to the house was incredible. The air was literally blue for about a minute. There was live wires & water everywhere, you could not leave the house safely. A electrical fire started in one site of wiring. When they came to dig a new hole for a new post, they hit the water line. Oh, & the cable was ripped out also. I have power & internet again but I also have a big burned hole in one bathroom, almost every plug was fried, Major appliance loss, {dryer, boise system, not one tv is working} but remarkably I am in good spirits. The last thing you really want to see in your yard 2 months post new landscaping is a backhoe! I am suprised I have been calm, I usually hate chaos, but hey, we are all ok & it's just stuff. So, I guess I'm having a great weekend because it could always be worse!

Yesterday was fantastic( my granduaghters Molly's 10th birthday,and 50+ children attended and no dramas,today is a chillin out lazy Sunday,and my dog has the same idea as it is pouring with rain here in Lancs, so it has been a good weekend for a change.

Its never a bad weekend, I am off work and have so many things to keep me busy...... I dont care if its raining or snowing, or just beautiful outside.........its a good weekend...... the only thing is my husband had to work 12 hour days this weekend, and I miss being with him............ other than that.... I am to danged busy to worry about NOT having a great weekend.........

can't complain, spent the last week over in the Islands, soaking up the hot sunshine and dodging the hurricanes when they were approaching us, but had a terrific time, just the same. Will be going back for a couple of months, in December, seems I like spending my time over there rather then here in the states. I earn a nice living here in the states and spend all my money over in the Islands, a great combination, wouldn't you agree?

I am having a great weekend. I spent yesterday with Marla Singer from P&S. She is even more beautiful, inside and out, in person. Can't wait to do it again!
Only one thing could have made this weekend any better. ♥∞

Well im not feeling so good and spent my day off yesterday in bed and i have been at work for 5 hours now i lost my bus pass and have to walk home in the rain so i would say it is looking pretty bad right about now
