LOL I guess I know where you are coming from, because if you suck it up and then turn off the vacuum right away, it might still be in a place where it can come out. But if you leave it running, you can definitely make sure that its not going to come out b/c it will be in the vacuum bag where it will die.
I'm not scared of spiders but I guess I tend to do that too.

i dont use vaccuums, but if i had to suck up a spider, of course ill leave it running for a couple of sec. after that id think its dead. plus the force of the sucking and then the imapct that it hits the dust bag will kill it. so just wait a little while but not like 5 hours
