Insert the small chip thingy into your cell phone. When you want to add or remove files Insert the small chip thingy into the big one (at the back side) and insert it into the memory card slot on your computer(if you have).

The small memory chip thingy goes into your phone. There's a slot on the side or the bottom where it slides in.
The larger chip thingy is the adaptor. You take the smaller chip out of the phone and put it in the larger one, and then put the larger one in a card reader that plugs into a USB port on your computer. You can drag music files to it, and then put the (now loaded-up) small chip back in the phone.

the little card goes in the big one so you can plug the big one in your comp and put music on it.. also i would recommend taking and cutting up music files to make ringtones out of them =)
