You need to drop Led Zeplin from your list.
The biggest bands were Def Leppard, U2, Motely Crue, The Cure, Bon Jovi, and Van Halen.

Led Zeppelin was NOT from the 80s...they were a late 60s and 1970s band...
If you are talking strictly rock and roll bands from the 80s...there were not a whole lot around other than the hair band era. U2 would count...as would REM....The Cure..The Cult....the Smithereens...Then you have some of the crossover bands from the seventies..like Journey or Rush, AC/DC...but they are not strictly 80s bands....

Led zep was 60's /70's not the 80's
The biggest rock bands around in the 80's were (from what i can remember)
Rush, AC/DC, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, King Crimson, Judas Priest, Van Halen..... etc
