is there anywhere where you can download modern sheet music for FREE???? ive looked on google thousands of times, but all that comes up are websites that send you to places where you have to pay, or classical music, or samples of songs. is there anywhere where i can find current songs for the piano without paying and easily? i would REALLY appreciate it!! also, please dont give me any sites that want you to pay....im not going to buy sheet music online, i just thought that if i could get it free itd be worth it. some songs i might be looking for are:
Collide by Howie Day
Green day songs
if God will send his anges by u2
every rose has its thorn by poison
and a lot more if i can find a website

The problem you are having is that you are running into copyright laws. "Modern" (classical can be modern ya know -- there are living composers out there) sheet music still has to be purchased. It is illegal to offer, and to download, copyrighted music without compensation -- unless,of course, the holder of the copyright authorizes it -- not too likely.
If you like the song, why aren't you willing to pay the $3.95 to get a copy?

Try creating an account on PianoFiles.com -- You can search for music there, and perhaps get some free sheets (although many times people want to trade)
