I don't believe in those things anyway so I think a Gypsy would sense this and not bother to throw curses at me.

As a gypsy myself and a Christian for that matter I think curses are evil need I say more.

yes. Cursed to be more intelligent than those around me. At first I thought 'Ha! Silly Gypsy!' but I have subsequently learned how depressing it really can be

Not as such......
One knocked on the door of my parents and I answered it.
She gave me a doily (really random) and told me that she saw in my future, me living abroad, with a ring on my finger and I would be really happy.
She didn't want any money but insisited I kept the doily!
That was about 3yrs ago, none of it's happened yet but I've still got the doily!
