Time is a healer, and also just by being kind to yourself no self blame or guilt... what ever you do do not stay in and brood on this get out not necessarily to meet anyone else but just so you are in a different environment which sometimes help also, because a break up is similar to a death you have to give yourself time to grieve the loss and accept, after accepting, things begin to get easier from then on, discard of painful reminders you will know what those are, and eventually the pain will ease, and then stop hurting, then... you move forward you have your whole life ahead of you, and i always believe everything happens for a reason though we don't always see it at the time...good luck.

Keeping busy works for me ~stay away from old haunts don't be afraid to grieve for something lost in private. They (whoever they are) say the best thing for an old love is a new love I don't really buy that but get out if you can, like people say time is the thing then moving on Good Luck

I think this is one of the most difficult questions in life. It's so hard to give a definite answer, but I think the old saying "time heals all wounds" is really true. I know what you are going through because I have been there myself. Believe me, when you aren't out looking for a replacement love, one will "smack" you in the face. You will find happiness again, just don't expect it to happen overnight. Enjoy life, find a hobby, hang out with friends, etc. Good luck and God bless!

Wish i had the right answer for this question, but i don't think there is a right answer. When i tried to get over someone i tried to forget about them but that made me think about them even more. Then i tried getting back out there and meeting other people. I met someone. And although i still think about the other person i wanted to get over the feeling is getting less and less. Hope this helps your question was noe too clear worded.

it will take time but u have to divert your attention and get busy in work.... try not think about the negative reasons for breaking up.. dont try to go in depth why it happened to me... try to take it in a positive way that all this happened just for good and perhaps that point your cant see now but after some time u will realize it.....
although i know its very difficult to think positive in these condition but this is the only way to get over because it is necessary for us to have a hope for good and a better life.....
dont try to forget just get busy and relax....after some time life will look better and worth living..
good luck
