It was actually blue. You know how blue can look so close to purple. WAIT!! Was it also wearing different shoes on each foot? British Knights, Air Jordans, Pumps, and Nike?

It was Jack London who wrote that an alcoholic "sees, in the extremity of his ecstasy, blue mice and pink elephants." A hundred years later, people still use the phrase, "seeing pink elephants," to mean 'intoxicated'.
But, hey, if yours are purple, more power to ya! Purple's a great color, too. Personally, I tend to see fireflies. :)

I strongly believe you just saw a purple elephant. I hate when that happens. Maybe you should stay off those purple pills.
