No. It will be nation building. America does not nation build.
Do you want our brave young men in the military to be coming home in body bags for liberal nation building!?!
If you are questioning this, just pray over it and take faith in our Christian Commander in Chief, President George W. Bush!

Before the last mid-term election, the dems ran on the platform that if they were elected into office, they would bring our troops home and bring an end to the Iraq War. (aka: surrender). Well here we are nearly a year later with not a thing that our democrat led congress promised us put into action. (By the way, they have done not much else during this time either).
You are so very incorrect in your statement that conservatives have support for the war with a "blind faith". Liberal democrats (as usual) politicize everything that happens it seems. The libs demanded that the president listen to a committee formed in regards to what our course should be in the Iraq war. The committee gave a number of recommendations. When Bush chose to follow one of the suggestions (troop surge). That wasnt good enough for the libs. They tried to stall it at every turn. We all know that we had a troop surge. But BEFORE THE SURGE HAD EVEN STARTED their were libs in the congress that were proclaiming that it wasnt working.
Now we have a general that was ordered to give a report to state whether the surge was effective or not. When early reports by independent news agencies gave some good reports regarding the surge, they did not want to wait for the report, they were trying to tell the public that it was a failure. When Patreus finally gave his report, they pretty much accused him of being a liar and a puppet for Bush. If the libs will remember, he was a general that THEY had earlier agreed was honest and noble enough to tell the truth.
If anyone is blind around here, its the libs and their desire for the war and the whole effort to be a failure.

It doesn't matter whether conservatives still support the war with a liberal President.
The GOP will be the minority party after the 2008 and 2010 elections.
In these two elections, we have 41 republican senators up for re-election...over twice the number of Dem senators that will have to hold onto their senate seats.
The Dems will probably control the White House and have a firm majority that can over-ride any presidential veto or republican filibuster.
That's why republicans tore Petraeus a new one in those hearings. They are distancing themselves from Bush and this war, because they fear for their political futures.
In fact, many prominent republican senators have announced their retirement because they know they will be mired in the minority party for years on end, and they are not willing to be placed in that position.
Believe it ot not, but this is the truth. Americans, by an overwhelming majority want this war to end.
Bush does not have the troops, and next summer, when the 15 month deployments end, bush will have to either admit he doesn't have enough troops to secure Iraq, force an 18 month deployment on our tired, worn out soldiers, or start the draft.
None of these will have the support of the Dems, military families, or republicans who face a challenging election year.
Jim Webb's bill which calls for our soldiers to have one year at home for every year in Iraq also has overwhelming support. What republican, in his right mind, is going to vote against a bill that gives our soldiers this needed rest? It would be political suicide for them.
This alone, will be enough to help end Bush's war.
And I doubt the US military is mostly conservative and evangelical..simply right wing spin.
Military families want their troops home. they are tired and upset about two, three and even four tours of duty in Iraq to maintain Bush's surge.
that's why Webb's bill will pass, and that's how this war will truely begin to end.
Unless, Bush starts a draft? Highly unlikely in an election year.
As far as johnny conservative above, the Dems do not have the votes at this time to do a damn thing, so to accuse them of going against their campaign slogans is more right wing BS. they can't stop a filbuster and they can't stop a presidential veto...so the best course is Jim Webb's bill..at the moment anyway.

properly, the challenge to do away with Saddam Hussein, which all people voted for, became into accomplished immediately. The conflict because of the fact then has been to fill the subsequent ability vacuum with a representative (non antagonistic) government fairly than permitting it to be crammed by ability of a few thing like Radical Islam. The Libs have been asserting this conflict is mindless & we ought to continuously toss the Cons out of workplace for procuring us in a pointless conflict. The Cons have been asserting that's substantial who controls the international oil grant, that the Libs be attentive to this & have been mendacity relating to the conflict for in basic terms political reasons. So who's mendacity? properly, this question presumes the Libs are mendacity. because of the fact it presumes the conflict will proceed under liberal management. It asks if the Cons will now initiate mendacity relating to the conflict for in basic terms political reasons. i assume I accept as true with regerugged, i think of the Libs reached an all time low in this one and don't think of the Cons will persist with healthful. yet i need to be incorrect. i urge all people to observe….and remember.

I think the scariest part your quesiton is having Hilary Clinton as Commander In Chief of the US Military. Can you imagine all these blue bird generals having to sallute HER? Funnier still..........I don't recall Hilary ever serving in Vietnam or serving in the military. So why was Vietnam such an issue when Kerry ran but not now? What about Obama? Did HE fight in Vietnam? We all know Bill Clinton didn't!

The Liberal (communists) educators and media are succeeding as evidenced by the nature of this question and some of the responses in this thread. The mini libs can’t think for themselves. Mission accomplished!
