Well, yeah. Croom has more than his share of problems in Starkville, including weakness at QB and a lack of depth. They can rely on emotion to pick up a win every now and then, but that'll lead to overpursuit and bigger problems later in the season.
And if you think I'm being harsh, I do have a kid in school there.

I wasn't really that surprised. Mississippi State gave LSU a bit of a run for their money for a while in LSU's first game. Mississsippi State is looking to be a pretty good team. On the other hand, this doesn't look like Auburn's year. They lost their last game and almost their first game of the season. They are taking a little time to get everything together. By the end of the season though, I'm sure they will be back to the Auburn we know.

Well, MSU's offense was terrible against LSU. Of course, after a few games it is easy to see why. The game was Auburn's to win. I thought Auburn's coaching staff would make offensive adjustments to help Cox but nothing seemed to work. Cox is a senior and he is playing so poorly with horrible decision making. I don't want to place the blame on one person but the QB perfomance at Auburn has downgraded from last year with the same guy at the helm. Go figure!

Yes, because MSU is horrible. And some idiot in Starkville will get the idea that Sylvester Croom is actually a good coach and keep him around for a while when Croom should get the ax at the end of the season.

Tubberville's got some serious problems in Auburn.

Not really. Auburn is obviously not that good this year and most any team in the SEC can beat any team. MS beat Florida just a few years ago.

Not to much. Auburn hasn't shown much in any of their games. But then neither had MSU. Both of those teams will be in the second division of the SEC west.

I for one was surprised. Somehow I just thought that Auburn would pull it out and didn't.

Sylvester Croom is a great coach and knows how to recruit. He took a dog that no one wanted and has turned it into a potential jewel after three years. Congrat! Coach Croom. Coach Zook is next..
