You like oil? Fine, pay for it, don't steal it.

Are you trying to say that 'free market economy' does NOT mean "if you can steal it, it's free"? I happen to agree with you, but you're going to have a hard time convincing the 'moral' ones.

Big business. Republicans believe in free markets to the extent that American corporations can enter and exploit emerging regoins of the world.
The oil situation is controlled by large commodity traders, and the run-up in prices has made them rich beyond imagination. Have you heard of "private equity groups" getting involved in corproate buy-outs? They're some of the guys who control the global oil supply.

Republicans only like a "free" market when their buddies are the ones making all the money. The minute it looks like somebody else is getting ahead, they want to change the rules because "that's different."

Ahem, Capitalists only like the "Free Market" when commodities are controlled by the wealthy plutocrats.

When it falls in the hands of someone else, it immediately becomes a threat to their power structure and it becomes "socialism" or something like that.

Look at the past, Guatemala and Iran is the proof of this.

Oil is a free market comodity. It is bought and sold constantly. The price is more a matter of futures dealing than anything else.

This is just another in a long list of lies you tell in your treasonous campaign to demonize those who protect your freedom. Name one gas station in America that sells stolen oil. You can't. All you do is make up lie after lie. If you want a free market then tell your liberal commie friends to get out of the way and let us drill in Alaska.

they want to keep the prices up so they can get richer.. of course i wonder how many actually pay for their gas? or does it come from the tax payers? as a tax write off for the purposes of some frivolous trip that has nothing to do with the public.. to many politicians senators and local government take advantage of free rides...

OPEC and other cartels control the supply. There is no free market.

Oil is traded on the open market. To say that we are stealing it is irresponsible and just plain wrong.

why don´t you privatize more the energy sector in the US? (especially the utilities)

And the water supply ?

There are things I really don´t understand about the so called "capitalist" country.
