Hi I have this favorite band that only performs in Korea, and since I'm going to Korea next year in the summer, I REALLY, DESPERATELY want to go to their concert. It's probably my last visit to Korea and I really don't want to lose the chance. Problem is, I don't know how to tell my mom I want to go. I always have the chances to tell her but it just won't come out. Any tips on what to say to her? I REALLY have to go to their concert.. =[ I'll do anything for it!!

Try this on for size: "Mom? When I'm in Korea next summer, would it be okay if I went to the concert?"

Be straight with your mom tell her that you really want to see the band and that its a once in a lifetime experience and tell her it'll be a good cultural experience too. Sometimes when you tell the complete truth and ask sincerely rather than annoyingly its surprising how often your parents will say yes.

don't ask her, sneak out of your hotel late at night and escape! its way more fun!!!!!!!!
