If the original 1 is lost in the new sum and cannot be divided out, then the new sum was never 2 of anything. C. :)!!

I thought he said that there is no proof that 1+1=2
That you can't know one hundred percent sure that 1+1=2
I don't believe in that, you can't doubt agreements. It's a bit the same like when a tree falls in the middle of the forest and there's no one near to here you can't proof it made a sound.

Have you heard the expression, "the whole is more than the sum of its parts." For example, two people working together can accomplish more than two people each working alone. Or put two porte-manteau words together and you get a third word like this: brilliant, evening=brillig (Alice in Wonderland). There are countless examples that can be given for this statement.
