I heard on TV there is some way you can show on your TV set what you have on your computer screen. How is the picture transferred? Is it by a kit or what? If it is a kit, do you know the name of it? Where it can be purchased ? If it can be done but not by a kit what material is required and how it is done. Thank you.

Either way, if I want to watch TV, what do I do to disconnect from the computer. If I use the wire is there a switch to turn it off and on? If I use the wireless do I pull out the connector from one of the sets?

These days, it can be done wirelessly (you have a wireless transmitter card on your PC, and a wireless receiver plugged into your TV Input).
Or, you can run a wire from your video card to your TV Input.

there is a cable that is run from the modem to the input jacks on the tv
