how do historic buildings give YOUR suburb or country an identity? if it wasnt for the historic buildings, how would YOUR suburb/country be different?

Down here in the South, everything is pretty much old and outdated. I wish they will clean up the mess and go modern. It helps run business so much faster, and get a healthy clean environment at the same time. Nothing really historical here....its not like Japan or China you know?

it wouldnt have a historic building...
oh and it would have room for something better then some big old looking building

If they took the boarded up windows down and clean the streets, it may be more than a ghost town.

my town is known for having historic buildings... and if we didnt have them we wouldnt have as much tourists come and our town wouldnt be as nice as it is
