If you can separate aluminum from the steel you may get a little more. But, say the engine block is aluminum for an example; IF, you can not remove the cast iron sleeves they only going to give you Scrap Iron price and not Aluminum price.
I had an old Copper Radiator in my truck. Eventually I replaced it with the Original. I sold the Copper Radiator they give me $5 just for the radiator. May get $6 now depending on prices.
I would say you may not get over $20 and a Nail in your tire for everything.

specific engines have a equipped-in risk-free practices margin , and at modern 6 cylinders have that - because of the layout, there is not any pointless vibrations that would desire to be compensated for, in assessment to V-6 and four cylinder designs. in case you meant between a V-6 and four cylinder, neither will final incredibly long, while quite a few at modern 6's have been generally happening to pass 250,000 miles or longer in some previous Chevies. definitely relies upon on make, kind, and upkeep. As to bigger vs. smaller engine, confident, a much bigger one won't have as lots rigidity that a small one has in producing ability, so except the bigger 4-cylinder became into over-careworn in a much bigger motor vehicle, it could actually be a greater useful selection than a smaller one. lower back, the three M's - Make, kind, and upkeep, make each and every of the adaptation in what makes them final. Make and kind being greater high quality and layout correct than something. - The Gremlin guy -

MANY recycle places won't take an engine because of the hazardous waste in it. (coolant, engine oil, power steering pump)

If you disassemble it, they might take it off you hands for free.
Otherwise they'll charge you for droping it off.
