Why don't people understand the fact that the Iraq war is not a war for oil.

However, it's part of the equation.

And why don't people understand the fact that at the end of the day, it's either the United States or the Islamofascists who have control of Iraq's oil supply?

Surely, we wouldn't want the Islamofascists to have control over it. They could tie up the world's economy.

You see LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS, if the CRAZY PSYCHO LIBERAL ENVIRONMENTALISTS would let us drill for oil and shale, and have nuclear power, this country wouldn't have to worry about getting oil out of Iraq.

The U.S.A. has more oil than Saudi Arabia!

Continuing to rely on oil from the Middle East is a national security issue.

You think the liberals will ever see reality one of these days?

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Predicting what the themes of the next day are going to be is often difficult, yet water is a commodity that all people needs, there is not any replace and becoming inhabitants concentrations are making the available sources of water greater complicated. From the Aral Sea, to the Danube, to the Colorado River, the Yellow River, the Amu Darya, the Tigris River, the Jordan, all of those rivers are working decrease. however the superb situation would incredibly be the drawdown of the aquifers, the underground swimming pools of water that farmers are pumping as much as irrigate their vegetation. Irrigated vegetation multiply the quantity of foodstuff you could advance by ability of a extensive volume, and while those farmers empty the aquifers, their foodstuff production will plummet and foodstuff costs will skyrocket. sounds like a fantastic explanation for a conflict.

There are those among us that will twist any situation so that the subject will fit their belief system, a.k.a. B.S. !!!!!
I was in the middle east, in the US Army in the late 1950's and I WAS THERE, AS A CIVILIAN, IN 1967, IN THE 6 DAY WAR !!!!
The radical terrorists ARE NOT A REPRESENTATION OF THE MAIN STREAM OF THE MIDDLE EASTERN THINKING !!!!
That being said, The USA has more than 3 times the oil, in Colorado, S.W. Wyoming, and Utah, than the total in the middle east . Read the Dept. of Energy report, and the law singed by GWB, August, 2005.

Part of the equation?

Terrorists had no chance of taking over Iraq before this war started.

Also, don't blame environmentalists for the energy lobby's actions. They are a very powerful lobby and can manipulate congress and the President into doing anything. They are much more powerful than the environmentalists in terms of financial and social capital.

If the energy lobby wanted oil drilling in the US then we would have had it a long time ago.

If I didn't live here I would support the Democrats just to watch the country fall. Maybe that is why so many in the world dislike Bush , because he does things to prevent the downward spiral of America.

Because the libs are narrow minded folks who lack base and substance. Isn't it amazing at the line of oil tankers lining the eastern seaboard loaded with oil from Iraq

If we could simply stop killing to try and dip out the rest of the oil with teaspoons and make some real plans about what to do with this evergrowing worldwide crisis we might survive it.

Why does the oil go to private companies instead of paying for occupation like it was promised. Why not stand up instead of getting bent over by your government?

But, if we have more oil how could they tie up our economy?

Nevertheless we should remain submissively loyal to our President Bush!

Consider this, guys.... Petroleum makes many products we conservatives use often such as petroleum jelly (vaseline) and other lubricants!
