is celestia fake ?

I don't know what celestia is, but I'm guessing you're looking at some kind of night photo of the earth where the whole earth is in darkness. If so, it's just a composite picture and no, it couldn't actually happen.

Yes, 1/2 of earth is in night, while 1/2 is in day. What's the problem with celestia?

Celestia is a PROGRAM...

it is a representation/simulation of things you want to look at, not real-time photos and real-time videos.....so, in that way, yes, it's fake.... but the pictures are of real things....even tho there are limits to what it can show....
