Zoology would be ideal if you want to work in a zoological facility. Note that most zoos don't just focus on degrees, they also expect a successful applicant to have a relevant amount of experience for them to be able to fulfil the job to the best ability. Look to study sciences in school, and also think about taking up voluntary work at a local animal shelter, vet or zoo to get a good kick start. You don't even need to volunteer with wildlife right away - you can start with domestic animals first and work your way up.

Degrees in biology, zoology, pre-vet, pre-med and animal science. The are a few community colleges that have zoo programs. What's really important is your attitude and adaptability with animals. Going to work in a zoo cause you love animals is the wrong reason.
