I think it's his unwillingness or inability to consider the contrary view - he simply cannot and will not tolerate dissent. Unfortunately, those around him know it, and, as a result, never question his approach. They're reduced to being cheerleaders for his policies. Fortunately, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope W can hold it together for the next year and not screw things up any more than he already has. Obviously, the next President is going to be left with one hell of a mess to clean up.

Several years ago, the Journal of Psychohistory ran an article about "why George W. Bush need to be a war President". Bush was quoted as saying, "I was slapped around a lot by my mother...and that's what makes me a tough War President....She was called 'The Enforcer' in my family." Bush was also quoted as proudly admitting that fighting a war "is like being told every day you mother loves you".
Bush's arrogance and grandiosity come from a punitive parent that even today tells him he must "punish bad boys" abroad, the article continued. His "apocalyptic fundamentalism embodies the belief of his supporters that the world today is so sinful it will soon be destroyed by an angry God"....
In Bush's demented mind, he believes "one must kill to heal" - and Bush is acting out his belief in a "world purification ritual in Iraq".

I personally believe it's this kind of 'wacko' upbringing, combined with his lifetime of being 'excused' from things he failed at or didn't want to do (numerous business catastrophes, skipping out on military service, being let off the hook in drunk driving incidents, etc., etc.) that has made him the mentally unstable coward he truly is. Just as he probably always got his way when playing "cowboys and Indians" as a kid, George Bush has never grown up into manhood; he is still an insolent, impudent, spoiled rich kid who expects to get his way all the time. Bush is no less insane than other contemporary rulers like Stalin, Hitler, Amin and Hussein. -RKO- 09/16/07

Well for starters, his lack of common sense
Factor in he appears to be a puppet and really doesn't do much thinking for himself.
Then his arrogance when he has zero to be arrogant about.
Then his constant slogan blabbering that tells us nothing
Then his Katrinaing of America and I don't mean just N.O., I mean the whole damned country.

What I can't figure out is it was forgivable for the American public to vote him in once (selected) but unforgivable for the second time around.

We are truly our own masters of Bush's biggest faults.

Peace

No president knows everything about everything. That is why they have cabinet and staff to advise them on policy that affects this nation. I would Bush's biggest fault is that he is not very bright and will not take good advice from those around him when he gets it. He only has three original staff members left from his original staff, which ought to tell you something. He is arrogant enough to think he knows everything and is always right.

His inability to adhere to polls and popular trends. He should listen to the radical left and follow their every whim. We should follow the lead of the French and Brits cuz their so safe like when their Muslim Doctors tried to blow **** up. I think Bush should follow their lead cuz they drive Volkswagen's and save on gas. Please go do something bad to yourselves all you Left wing Dems! Take Hillary with you
