We'll probably never know for certain whether our government participated in - or knew about - the 9/11 tragedies ahead of time. However, there is sufficient credible evidence to cause us to question the government's version of events.
It disappoints me when some Americans retort with ugly comments, childish name-calling, juvenile insults, and rude remarks when every anyone questions this possibility.
As American citizens, we have a Constitutional right - and, indeed, an obligation - to hold our government's feet to the fire, question its tactics, and demand to know the truth. While it may seem 'patriotic' to willfully go along with the government's explanations, it is dangerous to do so, especially when one considers how many times our government has lied to us in the past:
* Speculation abounds that FDR knew about the pending attacks on Pearl Harbor, but allowed U.S. soldiers to die so that he had an excuse to enter World War II;
* The government has never satisfactorily explained the events in Roswell, New Mexico during the summer of 1947, especially to those who lived through it;
* Our government lied about U-2 spy planes being flown over the U.S.S.R. until Khrushchev shot one down and displayed it for the whole world to see;
* The Warren Commission's sanitized version of the JFK assassination doesn't agree with the opinions of many of us who witnessed that sad event, but we'll all be dead and gone before those sealed documents are released in 2038;
* Our government lied about U.S. battleships being 'attacked' in the Gulf of Tonkin, which led us into the Vietnam War;
* The military lied about the effects of Agent Orange on Vietnam veterans;
* The White House lied about a third-rate burglary in the Watergate Hotel until two young reporters dug out the truth, forcing the resignation of a U.S. President;
* Ronald Reagan deceived America by announcing - during this inauguration - that 444 hostages had been freed from Iran. It was only years later that we found out about a frightening 'arms-for-hostages' deal known as the IranContra affair, a scandal that rocked the White House;
* Congress lies continuously about its outrageous spending habits;
* The government lied about 'weapons of mass destruction', which led us directly in this unconstitutional, illegal, unjustifiable, immoral 'war' against another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States;
* The military lied about the torture and sexual abuse of 'detainees' until a whistle blower posted photos on the Internet.
Considering our government's 'track record' of deceit, lies, half-truths and deception, all Americans should - as a matter of honor and patriotism - intensely question what the government knew about 9/11. It is our right, our obligation, and our national duty to hold a modicum of skepticism instead of taking our government's "word" for it. Such lemming-like following will one day cause us to wake up and discover that we're living under the regime of a totalitarian dictator.

Without a doubt, the original discussion of this type of action took place in NJ in 1987. What was out lined in that meeting actual took place on 9-11. All agencies were involved in one form or another. The whole thing was just an excuse to get us involved in the Middle East. Check the BBC accounts of the pentagon. That was no plane.

Look it up on Google video Zeitgeist and i know its true because it backs up its theories with cold hard evidence and facts. Remember Zeitgeist. Oh just a little teaser of what it tells you George W. H. Bush, was meeting with Osama Bin Laden's brother Shafiq Bin Laden the very morning of 9/11.

No, what's wrong with you people? Aliens didn't build the pyramids, Hitler is dead, JFK was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald, and Area 51 has no secret alien bunker. Oh yeah, WE LANDED ON THE MOON! Get a grip.

These ridculous conspiracy theories keep on cropping up. Muslim terrorists hijacked the planes and had the captains fly them into the twin towers. Similar to but more succesful than the muslim terrorists who detonated bombs in London, and recently tried again by leaving a car packed with explosives near London nightclubs. Again like the unsucessful attempt recently at Glasgow airport. Not unlike the recent plot against US military bases in Germany. What more evidence do you need that the murders were carried out by terrorists?

It's fun to bash bush and call him a terrorist, but he wasn't behind it.
I've read biographies about him by people who worked with/for him. He loves America and would never bring a terror attack against it. FYI, he's not stupid, he gets nervous on camera. He is a great speaker when there is no camera in his face.

Let me guess. The video you watched was that dimwit Michael Moore's "Farenheit 9/11." No, 9/11 was not masterminded and executed by the USA. Now go back to your hole you've been living in for the past 6 years.
