I know nothing about hockey, so I need to know if this is a good team. I made this fantasy team to see how I would do in a sport I know nothing about. So this is it:

Also what are good players to look at for this year? How can I improve my team?

Good goaltending, although I am not as sold on Backstrom as some people are. Your forwards are decent and should be good enough so long as you win a lot of goaltending points. They are a little bit assist-heavy, though, and you won't get any PIMs from them. You paid the price for them by getting Luongo early, but he'll be great for you. Demitra is injury-prone, so keep an eye on him, but if he stays healthy he's decent. Your defense is very mediocre, though, and your bench is not very good. I recommend simply keeping a close eye on the free agent listings throughout the season and nabbing the hot hands when necessary. If you do that, your chances are as good as anybody's with this team. That said, it is nearly impossible to say anything for certain without seeing what the OTHER teams in your league did. Remember: this is all relative. Good luck!

derek doesnt know what he is talking about. your goaltenders are great. budaj is a rising star and is a definate starter for colorado. backstrom had a great rookie season.
other than that. it looks like a good team

Overall, not a bad team. I question your Gary Roberts pick...far better left wingers out there. I also question your choice of Budaj. What other goalies do you have available in your pool?

alright to start off you goaltenders all suck as for your starters it looks like the over the hill line
