It IS "sean" , not "John" ; like french pronounciation, "seaannn" it's a soft sound pronounced "shawn".. NOT john.
e.g. *Jean* Claude Van Damm (pronounced: *Sean* Claude Van Damm) Not (John Claude Van Damm)
