yes, because when you are looking across at the other side, you are only seeing the grass, when you look straight down at your feet, you see the dirt and the bugs mixed in with the grass

I think most definitely not, especially as a person grown older and who has already jumped the fence a few times to check it out. The grass on the other side is sometimes claimed with aggression by another, plus it often needs mowing at the least and ends out to be full of nettles at worst. Looks greener only.
Tending to ones own business is the best way to go. That way growth and the nourishment necessary for it to grow green stay in hand, unlike those two birds in the bush, to mix metaphors--

No! It justs looks that way. If you were on the other side, your grass would look greener. That island paradise looks great to us, but 90% of the people there wish they were where we are. Be happy with what you have and make the best of it.
