No, even those people who don't like going barefoot themselves know I wouldn't mind it. Barefooting is more comfortable than wearing shoes. Neither my parents nor my teachers were into any kind of creative punishments in the first place, and even if they'd tried to come up with something, barefooting would be the last thing they'd think of, since it's generally associated with being comfortable rather than uncomfortable.

Punishment? It would be a punishment to make me where shoes and socks. Having bare feet would be more like a reward.
My aunt tried it once with me when I was fifteen and I told her I would not where a pair of uncomfortable shoes (she thought I was just complaining about the comfort) so she threw out all of my shoes and socks and made me walk around a week in bare feet...it backfired on her when she found out I liked it that way.

No never, but my dad once told me that back when he was a kid, the punishment his classmates got was to kneel on little pebbles and carry a bucket of water on each hand. So my dad was always a good boy, he was sacred.

Yeah, I use to punish myself all day long, while I was forcing myself to suffer the terrible hardships of surfing from sunup to sundown, in Southern California when I was a youngin, terrible, terrible punishment!

Wouldn't be much of a punishment for me... I hate having to wear shoes. (And yet, I love buying high heels... I don't understand it either)

nopeee.. the only time i went barefoot was during my grandpa's funeral..we have to walk for around 200m i think.. on the road..
it was like a chinese custom
