why have 2 ears? why have more than 1 brain cell? well maybe not everyone has more than one brain cell

It's true we can breathe with one..but see if we had one more air wud be able to enter our nose and we would feel which means more dirt. But if we have two like right now the air we breather gets divided into 2 and we have no prob with less dirt entering it. Plus....God gave us two nostrils you can't change that.

You have 2 nostrils to take in the amount of oxygen required under stressful conditions. In running or any activity, one would be insufficient for the oxygen intake to the lungs. We could have just one nostril, but it would be like a large hole in your face, so as it is is much nicer.

God created us in perfect balance. We have organs on each side of our bodies. That's why we have 2 ears and not just one, so as with the arms, legs, eyes, cheeks, and even our brains. But just one organ in the middle like the nose, mouth and our genitalia. But even so these organs in the middle have their own sense of balance too. Our nose has 2 nostrils, our mouth has 2 jaws left and right up and down, even our genitals follow the same balance. Need I say more? Just a thought.

yeh but at least if one nostril is blocked you can use the other one imagine if you only had one and it was blocked what a nightmare

nature likes to have redundant parts in case of a problem with the other one, it's why we have 2 lungs, kidneys, eyes, ears, testicles etc.
but somethings like hearts and brains use so much energy we only get one!
